Teresa is a graduate of Augusta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She received her Master of Educational Leadership from Troy State University and additional educational certifications from Augusta State University.
Prior to joining Georgia Power, she was an Assistant Principal at Waynesboro Primary School in Waynesboro, GA.
Teresa is the Energy Efficiency Education Coordinator for Georgia Power’s East Region serving schools in Burke, Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie, Jefferson, Jenkins, Warren, Lincoln, Glascock, Wilkes, Taliaferro, Screven and other eastern counties.
Crystal is a graduate of Valdosta State with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She received her Master of Science in Foundations of Education from Troy State University.
Prior to joining Georgia Power, Crystal worked with the University of Georgia’s Cooperative Extension as an Energy Educator for the Weatherization Assistance Program in Clinch County, where she collaborated with local community action agencies, as well as Georgia Environmental Financial Authority (GEFA). She was also a former teacher at Ware County High School and Clinch County Head Start.
Bill graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors of Science in Recreation, with a minor in Business. In the community, he has served as a volunteer coach of several sports teams including two Junior National Champion Skeet Shootings Teams.
Bill began his career with Georgia Power in 1991 and has held various roles in the Land Management Organization including park operations and shoreline management.
Terry is a graduate of Alabama A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Education.
Prior to joining Georgia Power, Terry taught at Wesley International Academy in Atlanta. As an educator, Terry collaborated with community-based organizations to create learning opportunities for students outside of the classroom. In addition to teaching, Terry has been involved with several non-profit organizations that promote workforce readiness skills for students throughout Metro Atlanta.
Emily is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art.
Prior to joining Georgia Power, Emily worked for Scholastic, Inc. in the Scholastic Marketing Partners Division. She was the South Carolina Program Coordinator for Scholastic and Duke Energy’s Energy Efficiency Program, Power in EnergySM.
Emily is the Energy Efficiency Education Coordinator at Georgia Power’s corporate office where she serves schools throughout the state.
Cedric is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology. He received his Master of Education in Middle School Math and Science from Georgia State University. In the industry, Cedric has achieved certifications from the Association of Energy Engineers as a Residential Energy Auditor and a Certified Energy Manager.
Prior to joining Georgia Power, Cedric was the Project Grad Math Coach at Sylvan Middle School where he was responsible for providing resources and supervision to math teachers.
Cedric is the Energy Efficiency Education Coordinator for Georgia Power’s Metro South Region serving schools in Butts, Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, Fulton and Henry counties.
Deborah is a graduate of Shorter University with a Bachelor of Science in Management.
Prior to accepting this position, she was a Distribution Support Representative with Georgia Power, where she worked closely with the Metro West region manager.
Deborah is the Energy Efficiency Education Coordinator for Georgia Power’s Metro West Region serving schools in Cherokee and Cobb counties.
Kimberly is a graduate of Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
Kimberly has been with Georgia Power Company for 23 years.
Prior to this position, she worked closely with residential and commercial customers helping them become more energy efficient, assisting with billing issues, and consulting total electric residential and commercial builders.
Lorrie is a graduate of Armstrong State University with a Bachelor of General Studies with Early Childhood Education Certification. She received a Master of Education in Educational Technology from Lesley University. She has a gifted certification and is a Professional Development Specialist for the Childhood Development Association.
Lorrie began her career in education as an elementary teacher in Savannah, GA where she held leadership roles in her school and district. She mentored new teachers and provided staff development to many teachers in her district on how to use and integrate technology in the classroom. Passionate about education, becoming a teacher was a natural fit.
Viola is a graduate of Shorter University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Leadership.
Prior to this position, Viola was a bilingual Customer Service Representative at Georgia Power where she provided service to residential, commercial and Industrial customers both in person and through our virtual call center to English and Spanish speaking customers. Viola is fluent (read/write/speak) in Spanish and English.
Tosha is a graduate of Mercer University where she received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership and minor in Communications with honors.
Tosha began her career with Southern LINC in Savannah then transferred to Savannah Electric as a Customer Service Representative and moved into Distribution as a Meter Locations Clerk. She later transferred to Georgia Power in Fleet and most recent, Marketing Administrative Specialist to the Metro South & East Region Sales team.
Tosha is past President of Metro South Citizens of Georgia Power and Metro South Employee Action Council. She is also a member of AABE. Tosha is a Junior Achievement Volunteer Teacher and founder of non-profit, House of Empowerment, Inc. where she mentors youth.
Tosha will serve as the Energy Efficiency Education Coordinator serving schools in Clayton County (Metro South Region).
Denise James is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Master of Science in Sociology, and Education Specialist in Teacher Leadership.
Prior to her position with Georgia Power, Denise taught high school Science at Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Georgia. In addition to her teaching career, Denise served as a facilitator for Project Learning Tree, a program that uses trees and the forest to increase students understanding of the environment and conservation methods to save them.
Wayne is a graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He received his Master of Public Administration from Savannah State University.
Prior to accepting this position, Wayne was a Georgia Power Region Energy Services Representative. He also worked for Savannah Electric as a Senior Education Services Representative.
Wayne is the Energy Efficiency Education Coordinator for Georgia Power’s Coastal Region North
Jennifer earned her associate's degree from Oxford College of Emory University, her bachelor’s degree from Emory University and her master’s degree from the University of Phoenix.
Prior to joining Georgia Power, Jennifer has spent the last 11 years with Fulton County Schools teaching special education and health and physical education, where she was named Teacher of the Year in 2013. She was also the instructional technology specialist for her school, where she was responsible for integrating and overseeing technology for both teachers and students.
Jill is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
Prior to joining Georgia Power, Jill was an ESOL teacher at Peachtree Ridge High School.
Jill has held various positions at Georgia Power. These include sales and service consultant and sales consultant. In these roles, she provided customer service to residential, commercial and Industrial customers.
